Domes, passages, fountains, palaces… The UNESCO site of Mystras portraits an imaginary that doesn’t match with what some people picture as the historical past of the Peloponnese. Mystras was once the home of the Spartans, but centuries later it became the city where the Byzantines saw its full glory.
The Thessaloniki International Film Festival will be part of MovieTravel’s pilot test.
Born in 1960’s Week of Greek Cinema, TIFF is one of the most important festivals in Europe and surely one of the biggest appointments for Greek filmmakers. It is held in Thessaloník, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list since 1988 due to its paleochristian and Byzantine monuments.
